Will just continues to have an awesome year in 2014! Variety reported this week that Will is in negotiations to star along side Leonardo DiCaprio and possibly Tom Hardy in the upcoming film The Revenant! This film is based on the Michael Punke novel, about an 1820s frontiersman on a path of vengeance against those who left him for dead after a bear mauling. As you probably know, Will is a big fan of Leo, so this will be awesome news for him! This adds yet another film to Will’s long list of upcoming projects, along with the recently announced film, The Yellow Birds. Congrats, Will! After a long development process, New Regency’s adaptation of “The Revenant” seems to be closer to production. “We’re the Millers” thesp Will Poulter is in negotiations to co-star with Leonardo DiCaprio in the revenge thriller.
Sources also tell Variety that Tom Hardy is in negotiations to join the cast as well.
Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu is on board to direct, with a fall production start date being eyed.
