According to Deadline, will is set to star opposite Lucy Boynton in an upcoming adaptation of the novel ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?’ by Agatha Christie for BritBox US. Hugh Laurie, star of The Night Manager and House, is behind the adaptation and the series is starting production this week. Here’s a summary of the story:

Based on the 1934 Agatha Christie novel, Why Didn’t They Ask Evans? follows the local Vicar’s son, Bobby Jones (Poulter), and his whip-smart friend, socialite Lady Frances “Frankie” Derwent (Boynton) on their crime-solving adventure after they discover the crumpled body of a dying man who, with his last breath, gasps the cryptic question of the title. Will Poulter wraps filming for ‘The Little Stranger’

[ Posted on September 07 2017 by Tanea ]

Will just posted today on Twitter that he’s completed filming for his upcoming movie The Little Stranger! This new project is based on the novel of the same name by Sarah Waters about a doctor who becomes increasingly entangled with the family of an unwell parlor maid and their haunted estate. Read a synopsis below. The Little Stranger is directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Will co-stars with Domhnall Gleeson (who also co-starred with Will in The Revenant) and Ruth Wilson, and is currently scheduled to be in theaters in 2018.

Based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Sarah Waters. In a remote English village after the close of World War II, a local practitioner, Dr. Faraday (Gleeson), is called to the aged estate of Hundreds Hall to tend to an unwell parlormaid. Faraday knows the estate from his own childhood, when his mother worked there as a maid herself. The Hall is home to a glamorous widow, Mrs. Ayres (Rampling) and her two grown children, the mesmerizing Caroline (Wilson) and Roddy (Poulter), a badly disfigured veteran of the war. The Ayres family welcomes Faraday and his expertise, and he is drawn into the mystery of the Hall’s apparent haunting by a malevolent ghost. As he becomes increasingly entangled with the family, the malevolent presence in the house ratchets up in intensity, and fates become violently and intimately entwined. Source: ComingSoon.net

Will Poulter to attend 2014 White House Correspondents’ Dinner

[ Posted on May 02 2014 by Tanea ]

Will is heading to D.C. to attend the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Dinner! The dinner will be tomorrow night, and you can catch live coverage online at CNN.com. Congrats, Will! What an hour to be invited. Here’s some more info from Deadline:

As always, Hollywood will be putting in an appearance. Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o from 12 Years A Slave, Kevin Hart, The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies and that other POTUS, Scandal’s Tony “President Fitzgerald Grant” Goldwyn, will be there as guests of Time mag, NBCUniversal, CBS and ABC, respectively. Netflix’s Reed Hastings and Ted Sarandos are also going to be in the crowd again as is the streaming service’s House Of Cards EP Beau Willimon and star Robin Wright. Not saying those videos they were in at last year’s dinner had anything to do with it, but we hear that neither Steven Spielberg nor HoC‘s Kevin Spacey will be among the guests at the Washington Hilton this year. LA Mayor Eric Garcetti, a big-time advocate for production in the City of Angels and SAG-AFTRA member, also will be attending the WHCD this weekend.

We’ll keep you updated with more Tinseltown names heading to DC for the dinner as we get them, but here are a few of the guests so far:

Fox News Channel:
Matthew Morrison & Renee Puente — Glee
Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys quarterback) & Candace Romo
Patrick Stewart & Sunny Ozell – X-Men, Star Trek
Joshua Chasez — ‘N Sync
Jeremy Irvine – War Horse, Railway Men
Chace Crawford — Gossip Girl
Ryan Kwanten — True Blood
